Your answer is B. Marble is commonly used for statues. It is a metamorphic rock that is relatively soft and easy to work with fresh from the quarry. It hardens as it ages, making it ideal as a decorative piece. It can be polished and is shatter-resistant. It is also a favorite medium for sculpture because it comes in different shades. The most expensive type of marble though is one that is white.
