The four perspectives useful for studying motivated behavior are the following;

- Instinct/evolutionary

- Drive reduction theory

- Arousal theory

- Maslow’s hierarchy of needs

What I agree the most is the Maslow’s hierarchy of needs because in order for a person to be motivated in studying, a person should evaluate firs his or her needs as to why he or she needs to study and that how these needs will likely affect him or her as a person and as well as the people he or she needed the most.
