Answers are Choice A and Choice D (first and fourth choices)

The middle two choices are not functions. This is because the graphs fail the vertical line test. It is possible to draw a single vertical line through more than one point on the graph. In order for a function to be possible, any input x value in the domain must lead to exactly one y value output value in the range.
