B. A narrative is a piece in which you are telling some sort of story. Stories are best understood when the reader has a good idea of when each piece happened--the chronological order of events. In order to help reinforce the order, transitional words and phrases should be use. An example of transitional words would be "next," "before that," "afterwards," etc. These show the movement of time based on the previous piece of information. This will best help your reader understand your order.
