Malcom has 125 feet of yarn to make 100 bracelets. He uses the same amount of yarn to make each bracelets.

Let x be the amount he uses for one bracelet:

\frac {125}{100}=x

Dividing this out we get 1.25 ft of yarn for one bracelet.

Part A

we know that

for make 100 bracelets.--------------------> Malcom has 125 feet of yarn

for make 1 bracelets.----------------------------> x

x=125/100--------------> expression that will find the amount of yarn Malcolm uses to make one bracelets

part B
x=125/100=1.25

the answer part B is 1.25
ft of yarn to make 1 bracelets
