Given equation of line:
5x+y=9
Convert it into slope intercept form: y=mx+b
Where m is the slope.
y=-5x+9
here slope of line, m1=-5
As slope of perpendicular lines is negative reciprocal of each other.
So slope of perpendicular line is m2= 1/5
Equation of line:
y-y1=m(x-x2)
Put values
y-1=1/5(x-2)
y-1=1/5x - 2/5
Add 1 to both sides
y=1/5x -2/5 +1
y=1/5x + 3/5

Answer:
y= (1)/(5)x \ + (3)/(5)
