I’m sure if this is what your talking about g(x)=(X+6)(X-3)
The X in (X+6) is -6 and the X in (X-3) is 3. That way the both are 0

Answer:

Let the function f(x) be (x-2)(x-5)

Now, this product on the right hand of the function is a zero product if the value of the function is 0.

⇒ (x - 2)(x - 5) = 0

Now, product of two factors is 0 only if any one of the factor is 0

So, we take each factor equal to 0

First take, x - 2 = 0

⇒ x = 2

Then, x - 5 = 0

⇒ x = 5

So, for these values of x i.e. x = 2 and x = 5 the product is the zero product.
