It grows and adapts to the changing times in three ways: amendments, the Elastic Clause, and Supreme Court decisions. It accepts the necessity of modifications according to the varying needs of society. Both political practice and judicial rulings have shown maturity and flexibility in implementing and interpreting the constitution. These factors have made our constitution a evergreen document rather then a closed and static rulebook.
