Explanation:

Given line: y= -3/4 + 1

So if a line is perpendicular to another line, then its slope will be the negative reciprocal of the other line slope (reciprocal of a fraction is the inverse of it's fraction example: reciprocal of 10/6 is 6/10). So for this problem the given line's slope is -3/4. But since the equation that has (6, 6) is perpendicular, the slope will be 4/3.

Now that we know the slope we can put the number's in the point slope form. Point slope formula: y - y1 of point = m(x - x1) (y1 = y of point, x1= x of point and m= slope)

So the equation will be y - 6 = 4/3(x - 6)
