We have to find the product

(x-7)^2

we can write it as

(x-7)(x-7)

Now we have to apply the distributive property

=
x(x-7)-7(x-7)

=
x^2 -7x -7x +49

=
x^2 -14x +49

First option is the correct one

The given expression is

(x-7)^2

which is equal to

(x-7)^2 = (x-7)* (x-7)

Here we use distributive property ,

=x(x-7)-7(x-7) = x^2 -7x -7x+49 = x^2 -14x +49

Correct option is the first option .
