What you must do is 14 8
— = —
X 100
So 14 times 100 = 1400 and 8 times x = 8x.
Then you divide 1400 by 8 and you find x, where x stands for the number 14 is 8% of. In this case, the answer is 175.

it is 175. all you do is 14 divided by 8% , which is 0.08, on a calculator
