Julius Caesar had become the prominent figure in the empire for his victorious battle which helped Rome to gain military power and economic benefit. Caesar was stabbed to death by senators including Marcus Junius Brutus, Decimus Brutus, and Cassius Longinus, who wanted to save the Roman Republic.
