From the problem, we can derive two equations.

The first will be
1.25p = q, as we know that the price index of q from p is 125.

The second will be
q-p=1.30, as we know that the price q is RM1.30 greater than p.

Solving the system of equations gives us p = 5.2, and q = 6.5.
