Explanation:

We can get the radius from the area of the circular base

The area of the circular base is;

A = pi * r^2

616 = pi * r^2

r^2 = 196.078

r= √196.078

r = 14 cm

The curved surface area is;

pi * r * l

= 22/7 * 14 * 20.5

A = 902 cm^2

The total surface area is the sum of the curved surface area and the area of the circular base

That will be;

902 + 616 = 1,518 cm^2
