⇒ cos 37° = AB / AC

⇒ cos 37° = AB / 20 cm

⇒ 4/5 = AB / 20 cm .

⇒ AB = 4/5 * 20 cm .

⇒ AB = 16 cm .

Now , again AOB is s semicircle and AB is diameter , And the radius will be half of diameter .Hence here h = r = 16cm/2 = 8 cm .

Hence the depth of the soup is 8 cm .
