Please help! and show work

WXYZ is an isosceles trapezoid with legs WX and YZ and a base XY. If the length of WX is 6x+5, the length of XY is 10x+4 and the length of YZ is 8x-3, find the value of x.

So, since the two legs are of equal length, you only need to use the information of the two legs:

Leg WX: 6x + 5

=> 2x = 8

Since the trapezoid is isosceles the lengths of the legs are equal. so 6x + 5 is equal to 8x-3. From there 2x is equal to 8 and then after dividing one can conclude x is equal to 4.
