we only had to multiply each of the two by 1.5

So the percentage enlargement will be;

(1.5x-x)/x * 100

= 0.5x/x * 100

= 0.5 * 100 = 50%

(0.7x-x)/x * 100%

= -0.3x/x * 100%

= -30%
