right triangle 30 60 90
if short=2 then hypotenuse = short leg multiplies by 2
so
hypotenuse = 2 * 2 = 4

Answer:

The length of hypotenuse is 4 units

Explanation:

Given the right angled triangle 30°-60°-90° model.

Also the shortest side is 2 units

we have to find the length of hypotenuse.

A 30-60-90 model of triangle is represented in attachment.

As the side opposite to the smallest angle is shortest. According to this model, the hypotenuse is equal to twice the length of the shorter leg, which is the side opposite to 30° angle. The longer leg, which is across from the 60 degree angle, root of 3 of x.

Therefore the shortest side in the model is BC which is equals to x i.e

x=2 units

The length of hypotenuse is 2x i.e twice the length of shortest side which is

2x=2* 2=4 units

Hence, the length of hypotenuse is 4 units

Using the technique in the model above, find the missing sides in this 30°-60°-90° right-example-1
