What is the value of the expression 3.6 x 10^8 over 1.2 x 10^3?

To obtain the value simply multiply the numbers together and then multiply the exponents together, use the exponential law for multiplying exponents.

Move the decimal place to the left after multiplying the numbers and exponents together, to put the number back into correct scientific notation.
