b: is the base of the parallelogram.
h: the height of the parallogram.

We can know the length of the base and the heigh by the figure shown in the problem:

Then, we have:

A(a)=bxh
A(a)=4x3

Now, we must proceed to find the area of the rectangle, by using the formula:

A(b)=bxh

b=9 (the base of the rectangle)
