Sin 30=opposite side/hypotenuse =8/x
1/2=8/x so 1•x=2•8; x=16

Sin60= opposite side/hypotenuse=y/16
(Sqrt 3)/2=y/16 so 2•y=16• sqrt 3; y=13.856
