Lateral surface area of a cylinder is,

l = 2\pi \ rh

1st we need to calculate for the radius.

r = (d)/(2) = (12)/(2) = 6

The radius is always half of the diameter and in this case is 6.

l \: = 2 * \pi * 6 * 20

l = 240\pi

l = 753.98224

Lateral surface area is
≈ 753.98 or ≈ 754.
