It would be 6 times however many years she waited, minus the 27 she donated to the museum: 6y - 27 = S.

Hope this helps,

Answer:

n = (6y)- 27

Explanation:

An art collector buys 6 pieces a year for y years.

He donated 27 pieces to a museum.

Let the total number of the art pieces she has still in her possession = n

Therefore, the algebraic expression represents the number of pieces the collector still has in her possession will be

n = (6y)- 27
