John has 3 ounces of sequins to use on 12 identical projects. How many ounces of sequins will he use on each project?

Divide the number of projects by the number of ounces of sequins.

3/12= 0.25, or 1/4

0.25 or 1/4 ounce of sequins will be used on 12 identical projects.
