Hi there!

Slope intercept form is y = mx + b
So, what we have to do here is just get y, on the left side of the equation, alone.

So we can divide both sides by 2, and we get y = 4 + 2x.

Then all we have to do is move the right side around to get mx to come before b, and we get y = 2x + 4.

I hope I helped!

slope intercept form is y = mx + b

2y = 4x + 8

2y/2 = (4x + 8)/2

y = 2x + 4

y = 2x + 4 is your answer

hope this helps
