When simplifying problems, we use the acronym PEMDAS

Parentheses
Exponents
Multiplication
Division
Addition
Subtraction

2+(65+7)×3

First, we can do what's inside the parentheses...

2 + (72) x 3

Next, we can do multiplication (because we have no exponents)...

2 + 216

Finally, we can add (because we don't have to divide anything)...

= 218
