-5(x-6)=-15 distribute -5 and u get -5x+30=-15 then u subtract -30 from both sides and u get -5x=-45 then u divide by -5 and u get x=9

Distribute the -5 to x and - 6

-5x + 30 = -15

-5x + 30 (-30) = -15 (-30)

-5x = -45

-5x/-5 = -45/-5

x = 9
