The correct answer is B.

The Great Raid of 1840 was the greatest incursion ever organized by amerindian against cities of white population in today's United States of America. It occurred after the massacre of the Council House, in which officers of the Republic of Texas attempted to capture and imprison 33 Comanche leaders, who had gone there to negotiate a peace treaty. In the end, these 33 leaders died, along with a dozen of their relatives and followers.

This increased tensions in the Texas/Mexico border dispute since the comanches came from Mexican territories, reason why in certain way the Mexican government was made responsible for not controlling these native tribes.
