The capacity of the cookie tin represents the volume of rectangular prism. Volume of a rectangular prism can be determined by the formula
V = l × w × h

From the question above, we know that
l = 14 in
w = 7.6 in
h = 3.4 in

Plug the numbers into the formula
V = l × w × h
V = 14 × 7.6 × 3.4
V = 361.76

The capacity is 361.76 cubic inches

Multiply all three numbers together. 14•7.6 gets you 106.4. Then multiply 106.4•3.4 to get 361.76 cubic inches.
