SOMEONE HELP PLEASE I DONT KNOW WHAT MEAN IS MEAN IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE IN MATHEMATICS IM CONFUSE

IT SAYS:

Find the mean age of the swimmers on the team.

you have to add up all the numbers (ages) and then divide it by the amount of swimmers are on he team. Example: there are 4 swimmers on the team with ages 6,7,8,6. Add them all up which equals 27. Then divide it by 4 which equals 6.75. 6.75 is the mean.

All you have to do to find the mean is to add up all of the numbers there are and divide it by how many numbers. Like if there's five numbers, add them all up then divide by five to find your mean.
