All sides are the same length (congruent) and all interior angles are the same size (congruent). To find the measure of the interior angles, we know that the sum of all the angles is 720 degrees (from above)... And there are six angles... So, the measure of the interior angle of a regular hexagon is 120 degrees.

Answer:

The sum of the measures of the interior angles of the hexagon is
720\°

Explanation:

we know that

The formula to calculate the sum of the internal angles of a polygon is equal to

S=(n-2)180\°

where

n is the number of sides of polygon

In this problem we have a hexagon

The number of sides of the hexagon is six

so

n=6

substitute in the formula

S=(6-2)180\°=4(180\°)=720\°
