Solution:
Let, a number be x and another be x +3.
By question,
x + x +3=27
or, 2x=27-3
or, 2x = 24
or, x = 24/2
or, x = 12
Then,
One number is 12.
And, another number = 12+3= 15.
Hence,
The numbers are 12 and 15.
Hope it helped.

x + y = 27
x = y + 3
y + 3 + y = 27
2y + 3 = 27
2y = 27 - 3
2y = 24
y = 24/2
y = 12
x = y + 3
x = 12 + 3
x = 15
ur numbers are 12 and 15
