Ten workers will be stuffing envelopes with letters to prospective clients. each worker has to stuff, seal, address, and stamp 1,000 envelopes. however, there is no company letterhead available. the mailroom clerks make an order for letterhead to be delivered to the workers in order for each one to be able to finish their project. if each pack of letterhead brings 500 sheets, how many packs does the mail room need to order so that each worker can meet their goal?

Since there are 10 workers, each having to prepare 1,000 envelopes, we multiple 10 by 1000 to get 10,000 letterhead. Divide 10,000 letterhead by 500 sheets per pack, to get the answer of 20 packs of letterhead.
