A mixture comptais two or more constituents which are easily separated through physical methods. It maybe combined either elements or compounds. Examples of mixtures is air, bronze, sea, water, petroleum, milk, urine, and blood.

Examples of homogenous mixtures are salt solutions, sugar solution (uniform appearance and composition throughout. Heterogenous- sand in water, mud in water etc. (varied composition)
