Answer:Child labor is one of the biggest problems that is faced by different countries all over the world. It means engaging children who are below the age of 12-14 years to work in industries, firms and other organizations. It has been made illegal in most of the democracies all around the world but still the problem of child labor is prevalent, and this practice is done hiding from the eyes of police and government. The cartoon depicts how the rich man provide employment to children and also misuse them as in the cartoon the man is seen sitting on little children. The Progressives worker hard in order to improve the lives of the children in the Progressive era. Firstly they opened schools for the children of the immigrant workers so that they could be educated which would improve their chances of better employment. They also created the National Child Labor Committee which would investigate the the conditions in which the children worked. With the evidence they gathered and the photos they took they organized exhibitions in order to raise awareness about this problem.
