Total amount(in kilogram) of sugar purchased by Michael = 515 kg

Another amount(in kilogram) of sugar purchased by Michael= 312 kg

Total amount of sugar purchased by Michael

= 515 kg + 312 kg

= 827 kg

Now, we have to find the total amount of sugar purchased by Michael in pounds.

Since 1 kilogram = 2.2 pounds

Therefore, total amount of sugar purchased in pounds=
827 * 2.2 pounds

= 1819.4 pounds

So, Michael purchased 1819.4 pounds of sugar.
