a pair of jeans is 30% off and the sale price is $24 in discount. What is the original price of the jeans before the sale. please can i have how u got your answer

Line up % with % and $ with $ and cross multiply.

100% Costs $X ( the full price)
100%-30%=70% Costs $24 ( discounted price)

X=100•24/70=34.28571429
Money could be only up to two digits so we round up to the nearest hundredth
The full price was $34.29
