The factors that can be carcinogenic include the following:
ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS
CHEMICAL AGENTS
DIETARY SUBSTANCES
DEFECTIVE GENES
VIRUSES
MEDICALLY PRESCRIBED INTERVENTIONS.
All these factors are capable of causing cancer by damaging the DNA molecule, that is why they are described as carcinogenic.

Carcinogens are known as the cause of cancer. In simple term for the people to quickly and easily understand, carcinogens can be defined as toxins, contaminants, or pollutants. The factors that can be carcinogenic are the products stimulating genetic mutations such as drinking sodas, plastics, tanning beds, tobacco, processed meat, air pollution, UV rays and viruses.
