The equation that we are asked to model goes something like this -
9x-6=8+2x. Now, all we need to do is solve for the variable,
x.

9x-6=8+2x

\Rightarrow 7x-6=8

\Rightarrow 7x=14

\Rightarrow \boxed{x=2}
