the area for both of the shapes is base times height. to find the height of the rectangle you need to divide the area by 9. 38.25/9=4.25 the height of the rectangle is 4.25. to find the base of the parallelogram you need divide the area by 7.4. 44.4/7.4=6 the length of the base for the parallelogram is 6.
