Hello there! I can help you! So, a $50 skirt gets a 10% raise in price. Let's add 1 to the percent in decimal form. 10% is 0.1 in decimal for. 1 + 0.1 is 1.1. We can multiply that by 50. 50 * 1.1 is 55. Then, that price gets reduced by 10%. Percents are parts of 100, and 100 - 10 is 90. You still pay 90% of that price. We multiply that by 55. 55 * 90% (0.9) is 49.5. There. The skirt was priced at $49.50.
