A part to whole ratio is the smaller quantity to the larger quantity.
Let’s find the ratio from dimes to all the coins.
12+6+18= 36
There are 6 dimes.
6:36
Divide both sides by 6 to simplify.
1:6
There is one dime to every 6 coins.
