Hi

Solutions can be measured by volume, weight, or both but the most commonly used method is is weight per volume.

Step-by-step explanation

Unless there are specific instructions which in this question are not, we can suppose that assume that 80 % chloride solution means 80g of chloride (weight) , for every 100 milliliters of water (volume).

For a 100 milliliter solution, we will need 100 x .8 = 80 grams of sugar.

  • First of all measure the amount of chloride by weighing balance carefully.
  • Pour the chloride in a container marked in milliliters.
  • Keep adding the water until it reaches 100ml and stir well.
  • Divide 100 ml solution in 5 cups, 40 ml in each cup.

Hope it help!
