The number of users on a website has grown exponentially since its launch. After 2 months, there were 200 users. After 4 months, there were 800 users.

Find the exponential function that models the number of users x months after the website was launched. Write your answer in the form f(x)=a(b)x.

Answer: f(x) =50*2^x

Step-by-step explanation: if we call the multiplier between months d then we have 200 *d *d = 800. Rearranging give d^2 = 4 so d=2. At 2 months we had 200 so divide twice by d to get to the start, giving 50. Then we have the answer by putting these together.
