A society, is considered as patriarchal if a certain gender hold the most dominant status over the other. In roman society, the women in the household are required to be completely obedient to the men of the household. The men even had the right to impose punishment to the wives if they displeased the men.

Not long after taking the power, Augustus created Constitutional reforms of Augustus. These reforms take the power from the representatives and make Augustus rise up as the supreme leader in roman society. This marked the end of roman republic and marked the beginning of Roman empire.

Their main duty involved managing how the chores being done in the household (if the women were nobles, they had the right to give orders to the servants) and to take care and give education to the children.

The way we manage our government today implement some of the characteristics of the roman government. The roman government was also known to separate their executive and legislative part of their government so they can maintain checks and balance by limiting each other's influence.

Rome's location was surrounded by hills and mountain. These hills and mountains serves as a natural fortress that protect Rome from sea attacks. In order to conquer Rome, the enemy need to deploy infantry to walk around the mountain and initiate attack to the capital.

After winning the wars, they created laws that make their decisions becomes supremacy (cannot be toppled by any law). This granted them the ability to remove the people who refuse to support their decisions from their position or to execute them.

Since the slaves completely replaced the farmers, they no longer had any means to obtain an income from the rural area. Because of this, the farmers decided to seek jobs in the city. (either as artists, blacksmiths, food sellers, or as soldiers)
