The part of plants that contains structures needed to absorb sunlight and carbon dioxide is the chloroplast. Chloroplast would be the part in a plant to where it would absorb and be attracted by sulight and carbon dioxide.

The chloraplast contains pigments and chlorophyll that absorbs carbondioxide and sunlight to produce glucose and oxygen. So... Answer = chloraplasts.
