Step-by-step explanation:

Some positive examples would be that if you're looking into other traditions that will broaden your knowledge about how many different options there are to celebrate culturally. You may even find something that resonates more with you, which also has positive effects on mental health. It may help you assimilate into society more if you're interacting with more "normal" traditions. The main downfalls would be the possibility of disappointing family members and losing yourself in the process where you try to change yourself to fit into society's box. You could also waste time in this tradition that you might not agree with. It can be a good or bad thing depending on how the situation is approached, I think if you keep an open mind and explore other traditions without forgoing your own then that is the healthiest way to stay true to yourself while also hearing out what the rest of the world is like.
