Answer:

-4

Explanation:

The rate of change equation for a linear function is

m=(y_(2)-y_(1) )/(x_(2)-x_(1)  ) =(rise)/(run).

We select two points to represent
(x_(1) ,y_(1)) and
(x_(2) , y_(2) ). I'm choosing (-3,19) & (-1,11). So
x_(1)=-3\\y_(1)=19 and
x_(2)=-1\\y_(2)=11.

m=(11-19)/(-1-(-3)) =(-8)/(-1+3) =(-8)/(2) =-4
