Add 3y to both sides of the equation.

2x=3y+5

Divide each term by 2 and simplify.

Divide each term in 2x=3y+5 by 2


2x2=3y2+52

Reduce the expression by cancelling the common factors.


Cancel the common factor.

2/x2=3y2+52 Divide x by 1


x=3y2+52
