What does “Nor have we been wanting in our attentions to our British brotherin” mean to the people? And what did they want? PLEASE HELP

the basic translation is, "We told you (the British King and Parliment) that you were treating us unfairly. You had fair warning to fix these problems, now its too late."

What they want is representation in the English Parliament and equal rights
